Two world-renowned lawyers representing her family shared with Channel 9 a letter they sent to President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. In the letter, lawyers demanded that the White House intervene to bring those responsible to justice.

The documents attached to the letter also include new details about the moments leading up to and following Robinson’s death. These details are taken from statements made by Mexican officials investigating the case.

Sue-Anne Robinson and Ben Crump said the letter is a follow-up to a press conference they held in Washington, D.C. earlier this month.

In an official statement from the concierge to the State Attorney General’s Office, he noted that he had first met Shankwell at a dinner party and said that she “seemed to not fit in with society”, saying that she did not smile and was “absent”. party seats.

Lawyers sent a letter to President Biden

In their letter, lawyers Crump and Robinson are asking the US government for help in this case.

In the letter, the lawyers sought help from the US government in two specific ways.

“My clients recognize that the US government has many priorities and responsibilities, but believe that intervening in this case will not only serve the interests of justice, but also send a clear message that transnational criminal activity is unacceptable,” the letter says.

So far, there have been no arrests in the case.

Lawyers are calling on President Biden and the State Department to extradite anyone who has returned to Mexico to face criminal charges. The State Department does not comment on extradition matters.
