Surfing Crab announces its first California location in San Diego
Surfing Crab, a well-established seafood restaurant renowned for its signature Cajun-style seafood boils and refreshing cocktails, is making its way to San Diego with its first California location, according to Dallas Press News.
The founders of the Surfing Crab, led by Ming Lin, launched their first restaurant in Corpus Christi in 2019 and have since expanded to eight locations throughout Texas.
The new San Diego location, situated in the former Macaroni Grill space at the North County Mall, will offer an extensive menu of Cajun-style seafood by the pound, topped with the perfect blend of signature sauces. Among the most sought-after Surfing Special sauce blends is a perfect combination of Cajun seasoning, garlic butter, and lemon pepper, which tantalizes the taste buds of seafood enthusiasts. The restaurant’s seafood selection will include a variety of shrimp, mussels, clams, crawfish, and crab and lobster options like Snow crab, Blue crab, Dungeness crab, and King Crab Leg.
Surfing Crab’s menu extends beyond seafood, offering hibachi grill dinners with a choice of steam or fried rice, mixed vegetables, salad, and soup, as well as appetizers like cheese sticks and hush puppies. The San Diego location’s full bar will serve up an extensive selection of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, perfect for pairing with your seafood feast.
San Diego locals can anticipate the opening of Surfing Crab’s doors this summer, located at 202 East Via Rancho Parkway in Escondido. To learn more about the restaurant and its delectable menu, visit surfingcrabtx.com.
