HPD: 4-year-old shot dead on Cathy Highway near Fry Road, possibly due to road rage.

HOUSTON. According to the Houston Police Department, a 4-year-old boy was shot in the arm on the Katy Freeway near Fry Road on Thursday evening in a possible shooting on the road.

It happened just after 9 pm. Police said the boy was shot in the left arm and his family took him to a nearby hospital where he is expected to be fine.

It is unclear what led to the shooting, whether a suspect has been identified, or whether anyone has been taken into custody.
