Workers pulled from a chimney at a water treatment plant in Arlington
On Monday morning, a worker was pulled from a chimney at a water treatment plant in Arlington.
Arlington Fire and Rescue Crews were called to the site at 1901 Lakewood Drive near Arlington Lake at approximately 9 a.m.
Officials said the worker was trapped 75 feet deep inside a large pipe at a water treatment plant.
An NBC 5 Texas Sky Ranger flew over the facility at approximately 9:30 a.m. and spotted crews working to free a man from the pipe.
After removing the man from the pipe, he was loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher.
Additional information about the employee’s condition is currently unknown.
