Woman, 31, opts out of San Diego Correctional Return Program

Authorities on Sunday asked the public for help in finding a 31-year-old woman who left the Temporary Community Reentry Program in San Diego.

Officials received an alert at 9:45 p.m. Saturday from Cynthia Baker’s monitoring device, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said.

An emergency count was conducted and it was determined that Baker was not at the facility.

“Within minutes, agents from CDCR Correctional Security were dispatched to locate and apprehend Baker, and a notice was sent to local law enforcement,” the statement said.

Baker was described as a 4’11” white woman, weighing about 145 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin.

On October 11, she was sentenced to three years in prison for assault with force that could cause serious bodily injury.

Anyone who sees Baker or knows anything about her whereabouts is strongly advised to call law enforcement or call 911.
