What it means and what we can do to support: Indybay

The unprecedented, prolonged, brilliant uprising of the people of Iran unleashed the spirit, mind and dreams of the people…
• What does it represent?
• How broad is this movement and what are its goals?
• What regime rules in Iran and how did it come to power?
• Why are hundreds of peaceful demonstrators killed in the streets, thousands arrested, tortured and subjected to mock trials and executions?
• Who are the thousands of political prisoners in Iranian prisons?
It is imperative that people around the world, especially in the US, increase their support for the uprising itself and stand up against the repression of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
What can and should people of conscience do here in the US to support the just fight going on in Iran, stop the repression and release all political prisoners?
These and other questions will be considered.
