WATCH: Vandal throws rock at glass door of Queens Lutheran Church on suspicion of hate crime

Police said on Tuesday that a vandal was filmed throwing a rock at the glass front door of a Lutheran church in Queens.

The bearded assailant threw a rock into the driveway of Grace Lutheran Church on the Union Turnpike near Route 71 in Forest Hills from about 15 feet away at about 3:55 p.m. Sunday, police said.

He picked up the rock again to throw it a second time before leaving it and walking away, video footage released by the NYPD shows.

Surveillance video shows a vandal throwing a stone at a Lutheran church in Queens, police said.

The incident is being investigated as a hate crime.

Police said the glass front door had minor damage.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vandal and finding him.
