Two teens arrested for throwing eggs, verbally harassing Jewish youth in Brooklyn

Two teens have been arrested for verbally harassing and hurling eggs at a Jewish teenager in Brooklyn, police said Wednesday.

The perps, ages 15 and 16, were arrested and charged with aggravated harassment for the Oct. 24 attack, cops said.

NYPD released photos of some of the people who attacked a 15-year old who was walking on E. 18th St. near Bay Ave. in Midwood.

Their names were not released due to their ages.

The boys were among a larger group of teens that approached the 15-year-old victim, who was dressed in traditional Jewish clothing, on E. 18th St. near Bay Ave. in Midwood, police said.

The group screamed, “Free Palestine!” before throwing eggs at the victim.

He was pelted with eggs in the back and shoulders, but didn’t get injured in the assault.

Police are still searching for the other teens involved in the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
