Two men shot, one mortally, outside Bronx party hall

One person was killed and a second injured when a gunman fired at a crowd outside a Bronx party hall early Sunday morning, police said.

The victims were grouped outside Casa Bella Hall on E. 187th Street near Hughes Ave, police said. in Belmont when the killer fired about five shots around 1:45.

A 21-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 22-year-old man was shot in the buttocks. Both managed to run around the corner before collapsing on Hughes Avenue, police said.

Doctors took both men to St. Barnabas’s hospital, but they failed to save the young victim. The elderly victim is in a stable condition.

The shooter was not caught.
