Two injured in shooting in south Los Angeles

Two men were injured Friday night in a shooting in South Los Angeles.

LAPD officers were called at 9:00 pm to Avalon Boulevard and Imperial Highway where they learned that two victims were walking down Imperial Highway when the suspects fired several shots at them, wounding one in the leg and the other in the side, Officer Drake Madison. This was reported by the City News Service.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Witnesses told officers that the suspects left the scene westbound on Imperial Highway in an old blue Chevrolet Tahoe, Madison said.
