‘Tolerant Left’: Antifa mob breaks through doors at Charlie Kirk event at UC Davis

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was invited by local band TPUSA to perform at UC Davis on Tuesday. Ahead of his speech, the Sacramento Bee published an inflammatory article bee opinion aide Hanna Holzer, who claimed that Kirk openly called for the lynching of transgender people. Holzer posted this statement on Twitter and then deleted it.

Kirk vehemently denies ever saying this and announced that he could sue the Sacramento Bee.

The situation worsened, according to journalist Andy Ago, the chancellor of the University of California at Davis added fuel to the fire, rather than called for calm:

@ucdavis‘own @Chancellor_May helped provoke the violence #Antifa riot on his campus, repeating the lie that @charliekirk11 calls for violent attacks.

Ngo, who was the victim of antifa violence, concluded that the Sacramento Bee and the UC Davis chancellor helped incite the violence at the event, where Antifa thugs smashed the glass doors while trying to enter the event. College Fix has a video with the chancellor’s message.

Kirk also posted a video of the abuse:

“Violent left-wing agitators have just smashed windows outside of the venue here at UC Davis. Some of this group reportedly entered the building before the police successfully removed them. Pray for peace and security for all involved.”

“By promoting the story on social media, bee said, “Another fascist speaker is coming to UC Davis,” and added, “Charlie Kirk called for the lynching of transgender people, a comment that should justify the cancellation of his UC Davis talk,” Barrett News Media was told.

“In response, Kirk tweeted that this is defamation and slander. “We will sue if this is not fixed. Left rags like Sacby they are allowed to lie against conservatives and get away with it. Time for judgment.”

The Sacramento Bee changed the original article, saying, “An earlier version of this column contained a reference to transgender people, which Charlie Kirk vehemently denied. His denial was added to the column.”

Kirk responded accordingly:

“It’s a lie. I never did. I never thought that,” Kirk said. He explained that he actually said, “In the 50s and 60s, we wouldn’t have tolerated men going into women’s locker rooms. It is absolutely true that the district attorney would arrest a man who entered the women’s locker room for being a pervert,” he said.

He went on to say that the Sacramento Bee published a comment about the lynching after a trans activist pressed charges following Kirk’s comment about what would happen to men entering women’s locker rooms in the 50s.

“If they can do it to me, they can do it to you.”

Elon Musk even weighed in, noting: “Not a peaceful protest at all.”
