American Western Weekend at Globe Life Field in ArlingtonSeveral evenings of the best of Western culture and music at Globe Life Field. SZA at the American Airlines CenterThis Friday, singer SZA brought her SOS tour of North America to AAC in Dallas. The singer’s show “Love Galore” starts at 20:00, it is opened by Omar Apollo. Tickets and information here

Donnell Rawlings at the Arlington ImprovThe star of the Chappelle’s Show will be at the Arlington Improv Friday through Sunday. The stand-up comedian is gearing up for a new Netflix special and is sure to show his best performance. Tickets and information here

UniverSoul Circus at Red Bird MallIncredible stunts and interactive entertainment with urban music for the whole family. The UniverSoul Circus comes to the Red Bird Mall with performances from Thursday to Sunday through March 19th. Tickets and information here

Chicago moves to Fort Worth later this year

Saturday 11 March

2023 Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Greenville PartyIt’s the biggest St Paddy’s Day celebration ever and it’s sure to be crowded this year. The Greenville Avenue parade starts at 11:00 a.m. on Blackwell Street and ends at SMU Boulevard at 2:00 p.m. Jelly shots will fly and there are many discount bars. If you’re planning on riding in Greenville on a Saturday, be aware. Several roads will be closed. Information here

Jerry Seinfeld at Winspear Opera HouseWhat happened to Dallas? Jerry Seinfeld is bringing a performance to Dallas that is sure to blow your mind. Tickets and information here

Aquaman: Power Wave opens at Six Flags Over TexasIt’s part roller coaster, part water rides. The newest attraction, Six Flags, opens on Saturday. The attraction was originally supposed to open in 2020, but construction was delayed due to the pandemic. The ride has a height of 148 feet and a speed of over 60 miles per hour. Selena Market in Carpenter ParkThis weekend, Carpenter Park on Pacific Avenue will host a tribute to Tejano music queen Selena. From 14:00 to 21:00 there will be drawing lessons, dancing, vendors, food and more. There will also be a screening of the film “Selena”. Participation is free! Information here

Depeche Mode invite Dallas to new leg of tour

Sunday 12 March

Future and Friends at American Airlines CenterRap star Future is hosting his One Big Party tour at AAC on Sunday night. The show will start at 19:00. The show will also feature some of Future’s friends. Some artists known to have performed on the tour include Kodak Black, Trippie Redd, EST Gee, Polo G, Babyface Ray, Doe Boy, Lil Jairmy, Rob49, Double 00 and Ocean x Kungfu. Nuclear Circus Garden Brothers in Fair ParkThe big top arrives at Fair Park. Your family can watch The Human Cannonball, air performers, Wheel of Death, fear sphere motorcycles, clowns, jugglers and more. Performances will begin on March 9 and will last until March 19. Tickets and information here

AAC men’s and women’s basketball tournaments at Dickies ArenaThe American Athletic Conference championships arrive in Fort Worth, and a trip to the NCAA tournament is at stake. The final game will take place on Sunday at 14:15, but the tournament starts on Thursday. Tickets and information here

Dallas Patchwork Show at Dallas Market HallQuilters showcase their creations at this year’s Dallas Quilt Show. The show runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with lots of auctions, contests and more. Tickets and information here
