Texas Pinball Festival Returns to Frisco

The biggest pinball competition is back in Texas.

The Texas Pinball Festival will take place at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Frisco Conference Center in Frisco from March 24-26.

The Texas Pinball Festival will be open for a limited time over the weekend.

Festival opening hours:

• Friday, March 24, 17:00 – 01:00
• Saturday, March 25, 10:00 – 12:00
• Sunday, March 26, from 9:00 to 14:30.

Weekend and single day tickets are available for purchase and vary by day.

Pre-registration for the 2023 Texas Pinball Festival is closed, but attendees can still purchase weekend and day passes at the door. Weekend tickets cost $85.

One-day tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children on Friday, $45 for adults and $35 for children on Saturday, $25 for adults and $15 for children on Sunday. Children under 5 years old are admitted free of charge.

This year’s festival will feature over 400 vintage and new pinball machines, as well as classic arcade games. Guests will be able to purchase spare parts, consumables, equipment and memorabilia from vendors.

The Texas Pinball Festival will include tournaments where guests can enter adult and kids pinball tournaments for trophies and prizes. Tournaments will continue throughout the weekend.

The Texas Pinball Festival will play the new 2003 Simpsons Pinball Party for guests to win. The money from the draw will be donated to the National Video Game Museum and Kidd’s Kids.

To meet more pinball fans in the area, the DFW Pinball group will be hosting an exchange meeting on Saturday, March 25 at the parking lot.

This year’s festival will feature professional pinball player and game designer Roger Sharp. Sharp will present his new film “PINBALL: The Man Who Saved the Game” and will have a Q&A session at the event.

If guests miss Sharpe’s show, workshops with pinball designers and artists will take place Friday and Saturday.

During weekends, guests can receive 50% off entry to the National Video Game Museum and Kidd’s Kid if they show their festival wristband.
