A 12-year-old boy was slashed during an argument over a basketball game in the Bronx on Saturday afternoon, cops said.
The boy and his attacker got into a heated argument while they played basketball on courts at about 3:40 p.m. on the Bronx side of the Marble Hill Playground, which sits on the border of the Bronx and Manhattan.
The attacker, a teenager, slashed the 12-year-old in the chest with an unknown object, cops said.
The slasher then bolted from the scene, police said.
The 12-year-old boy was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he was reported in stable condition.
There have been no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
