Syracuse man charged with possession of child pornography, MPs say
Syracuse, New York. A Syracusan man was arrested Friday on charges of obtaining child pornography files, deputies said.
Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office detectives issued a search warrant for an apartment on North Clinton Street Friday morning where computers, mobile phones and electronic storage devices were found, according to a press release from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
Tanner Witt, 27, of Syracuse, was charged with 9 counts of promoting child sexual conduct and 9 counts of possessing a child’s sexual behavior, a felony.
Witt is in custody at the Onondaga County Justice Center, where he will be charged.
