Suspect wanted in El Segundo armored vehicle robbery

In February, an armored truck was robbed near a bank in El Segundo, and authorities are seeking information from the public.

According to the FBI field office in Los Angeles, on the morning of Tuesday, February 21, the driver of an armored truck was robbed near the bank of El Segundo.

The robbery took place at a bank located at 835 N. Pacific Coast Highway.

According to the local FBI office in Los Angeles, the unidentified man was wearing an orange reflective vest, a blue fabric mask, a black hoodie, blue jeans and black shoes.

According to the FBI, the suspect was last seen getting into the passenger seat of a maroon Ford Taurus.

The suspect was about 40 years old, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, of a slim build, weighing about 180 pounds. According to the FBI, he had moles or tags on the skin behind his right ear.

Details of the stolen items were not released.
