Shooting in South Los Angeles leaves two injured

LOS ANGELES. Two men were wounded Friday night in a gunfight in South Los Angeles.

LAPD officers were called at 9:00 p.m. to Avalon Boulevard and Imperial Highway, where they learned two victims were walking along Imperial Highway when the suspects fired several shots at them, wounding one in the leg and another in the side, according to officer. Drake Madison.

Both victims were taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

Witnesses told officers that the suspects left the scene westbound on Imperial Highway in an old blue Chevrolet Tahoe, Madison said.
