See how much snow fell in upstate New York during the February 27/28 winter storm.

Syracuse, New York. On Monday and this morning, a winter storm brought down several inches of snow across upstate New York.

The snowiest location of nearly 300 compiled by the National Weather Service was the village of Hobart in Delaware County, with 7 inches of snow. In Herkimer, Greene, Shohari, Sullivan, and Wyoming counties, 6 inches or more have been reported.

Temperatures were slightly warmer in the western part of the state, so more rain and sleet mixed there, resulting in lower total snowfall.

There were some delays and school closures in downtown New York, and a tractor-trailer overturned on I-81 south of Syracuse shortly after midnight.

Here is a list of total snowfalls compiled by the National Weather Service for this afternoon. There is still light snow in some areas, but these numbers are unlikely to change much.
