Winter Carnival at Lake Saranac

When: February 3-12

Where: Saranac Lake

Details: This 10-day festival includes an ice palace, a gala parade, an icicle contest, camera races, snow rugby, a chocolate festival, a pan toss, fireworks and more. This year’s novelty is the Blue Buns Wheel-a-Palooza, a biking tour of the city in a bathing suit and a family evening at the ice palace.
