Security camera video shows two men being ambushed at an N. Harris Co. gas station.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said three masked men ambushed another group of men at a gas station near Ella Boulevard. Two men were killed and another was wounded.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas. Two men were killed Monday in an ambush at a gas station in northern Harris County. according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Gonzalez said the men were parking at a gas station at a gas station on Ella Boulevard near Pennbright Drive when at least three other masked men attacked them around 3:00 pm. Gonzalez said the three gunmen got out of a white sedan with tinted windows and opened fire with AR-15 type weapons.

Between 50 and 70 shots were fired, Gonzalez said. In addition to the two men who were shot, another man was injured but is expected to survive.

According to Gonzalez, the gunmen fled.

The motive for the shooting is unknown, but Gonzalez said it looked like it was a targeted attack.

“We want to give the family justice for what happened, and the only way to do that is to really get the public’s help,” Gonzalez said.
