Report Says The Best Time To Sell Your DFW Home Is Fast Approaching

The busiest time of the year for home sales is almost here, and homeowners looking for the best deals may want to get their homes on the market very soon.

The best week to list a Dallas-Fort Worth home for sale this year will be the week of March 26, Realtor.com researchers have determined in a new report based on a study of historical market conditions favoring sellers.

The company measured weekly listing data for the last five years, excluding the unusual 2020, and found that homes sold in the last week of March typically receive 35.9% more views and 27.7% fewer price cuts than in during the average week.

Homes also sell after eight days on the market for less than the average for that week, with inventory typically 23.3% lower.
