Rafael Devera dies in road accident on Highway 80 [Vallejo, CA]

VALLEJO, CA (March 17, 2023) – Pedestrian on Highway 80 killed in early Thursday morning Raphael Devera. The incident occurred on March 9, around 4:00 am, on the eastern lanes of the highway near Sonoma Boulevard. According to reports, Devera attempted to cross Highway 80 near the Carkines Bridge toll plaza when he was hit by several vehicles. As a result of numerous collisions, he received serious injuries. Officials later declared 39-year-old Rafael Dever dead due to his injuries. After the crash, crews closed the lanes surrounding the crash site for an hour while cleaning up and preparatory work.
