Queens SUV driver with kids in tow intentionally mows down wife, flipping SUV and leaving her clinging to life

A Queens driver with kids in tow intentionally mowed down his wife Tuesday, flipping the SUV and leaving her in critical condition, cops said.

The driver was racing east down Parsons Blvd. with three young boys in his 2005 Ford Explorer when he slammed into the 41-year-old victim near Franklin Ave. about 5:20 a.m., cops said.

The impact caused the SUV to overturn, landing on its side half on a home’s driveway and half in the front yard.

The victim was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Queens in critical condition.

The boys riding in the SUV, ages 11, 9 and 6, were not hurt, cops said.

The driver was racing east down Parsons Blvd. with three young boys in his 2005 Ford Explorer when he slammed into the 41-year-old victim near Franklin Ave. about 5:20 a.m., cops said.

The 36-year-old driver was taken into custody. He is expected to be hit with vehicular assault-related charges, police said.

Cops said the motive for the attack was domestic in nature.
