Proud Family: Louder and Walker – Disney promotes hate

Disney is once again under fire for giving our kids all sorts of nonsense. A recent episode called “June” of the animated series Proud Family: Louder and Prouder aired earlier this month in celebration of Black History Month. The episode contained a scene exposing historical lies and demonizing the United States.

During a performance reminiscent of a beatnik poetry slam, several of the main characters proclaim together: “And we, the descendants of slaves in America, deserve reparation for our suffering and continue to receive redress every moment we plunge into systemic prejudice, racism, and white supremacy, with by which America was founded and which has not yet been redeemed. The characters continue to claim that Abraham Lincoln did not actually free the slaves and hint that he was falsely glorified in American history. “Emancipation is not freedom,” they argue, followed by a list of ways in which African Americans allegedly remained slaves. All this is accompanied by a repeated drumbeat: “This country was built by slaves!”

Similar rhetoric is found in the infamous work Project 1619 and is associated with the critical race theory, all of which have been scrutinized by historians as untruthful or factual. Despite opposition, activists instead use sophisticated brainwashing tactics. If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it. Moreover, if you teach children to repeat your lies, adults will believe them.

Proud family originally aired on Disney Channel in the early 2000s and has remained politically neutral for the most part. They covered topics suitable for children, such as friendship, family tension and bullying at school. When Disney asked the original creators about launching the reboot ten years later, it seemed like they were looking for a more upbeat version.

According to series creator Bruce Smith in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Disney asked him and co-star Ralph Farquhar, “So how do you guys feel about if we decide to do Proud family again? What would you do?” Farquhar stated that their major changes would be around a blatant political and cultural agenda: “Well, we’ve known since 2001 when we first started doing the show that maybe the two biggest things we could see, changed, especially as far as young people are concerned, there was the emergence of social networks and issues of gender and identity – the LGBT community is becoming more visible and demanding its legal recognition, if you will. that they should take part in the show.”

Endorsing this sentiment, Smith added, “We didn’t want to put that aside by telling our stories, we want to integrate those stories because, at the end of the day, our show really is the pinnacle of diversity and inclusion. And we wanted to make sure this show looks like you’re walking out the door and gathering with all your peers and friends, that’s what the world looks like.”

Smith’s last statement really speaks for itself. “This is what the world looks like.” Is an animated TV show where most of the characters are non-white what the United States is like? It is only from the scene pictured above that almost exclusively black characters can be seen, and the only white character speaking on stage is silent, most likely intentionally. It’s not what the world looks like, but maybe it’s what Smith and Farquhar WANT the world to look like.

Silencing and demonizing white people seems to be exactly what Smith and Farquhar are aiming for. When hiring for writing and production Proud family After the reboot, they even admitted to deliberately hiring almost exclusively people of color. “[W]We brought in a completely different group of people to help us make this show. We hired two African American women as directors. We have artists, people of color of all levels in the recording studio, sound engineers, producers. I mean, it helped make the show even more authentic with a voice,” said Farquhar.

In essence, Smith and Farquhar said the silent part aloud. They won’t be happy until America is filled with self-blaming, silent white people working to the bone to atone in monetary terms for the sins of the past. The only way to destroy white supremacy is to introduce white slavery.

How are Smith and Farquhar bringing this vision of America to life? They are aimed at children. They use cartoons and entertainment to promote their propaganda and instill feelings of self-hatred, racism and anti-patriotism. Disney not only supports this vision, but actively seeks people to bring it to life. Disney is preying on the American working class, hoping that they will blindly pay for a product and never ask questions or pay attention to the indoctrination they have allowed into their home.
