The estimated Powerball jackpot is $78 million. The one-time pre-tax payment will be about $41.1 million.

Double Play is a feature that gives players in certain locations another chance to match their Powerball numbers in a separate draw. The Double Play draw takes place after the regular draw and has a top cash prize of $10 million.

Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The Double Play add-on is available for purchase in 13 lottery jurisdictions, including Pennsylvania and Michigan.

A $2 ticket gives you a one in 292.2 million chance to join the Hall of Champions of the Powerball jackpot.

Draws are held at 10:59 pm EST on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The deadline for purchasing tickets is 21:45.
