Powerball jackpot rises to $96 million
LOS ANGELES. No tickets with all six numbers were sold in Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw, and Wednesday’s draw’s estimated jackpot is expected to rise to $96 million.
There were also no five-number tickets sold, but there is no Powerball number, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which hosts the game, announced.
On Monday, the numbers 1, 27, 32, 47, 67 were drawn, and the Powerball number was 14. The jackpot was $86 million.
The drawing was the seventh since the sale of the ticket with all six numbers.
According to the Interstate Lottery Association, the odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number are 1 in 293 million. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
