Police say four teenagers have been arrested after a series of car break-ins in Douglasville

Douglasville police have arrested four teenagers who were seen breaking into cars at an apartment complex on Friday.

An eyewitness reported that several vehicles were broken into at the Millwood Park apartment complex on Duralee Lane in Douglasville. Officers from the Douglasville Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office quickly found a car with four teenagers running from the police.

Eventually, the authorities used a PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique) maneuver to bring the car to a halt.

Then four teenagers ran out of the car, some of them with guns.

Three teenagers were quickly arrested and found with weapons. Later, another teenager was tracked down and arrested by the K-9 police.

Two of the suspects have been identified as Dareon Kelly, 19, and Antavius ​​Bowden, 18, while the other suspects, both aged 15, have not been identified.

According to police, none of the teenagers were from Douglas County.

The teens were charged with several crimes, including breaking into a car, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, possession of stolen property (the car they were driving was found to be stolen but has not yet been reported), possession of marijuana, possession of tools for break-in, criminal use of firearms with altered identification (serial numbers have been removed), escapes and attempts to hide, and much more.
