Police say 1 person has been shot dead on a MUNI bus in San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — San Francisco police responded to a shooting that occurred on a MUNI bus shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday on Mission and 13th Streets.

Police arrived at the scene and located an adult male with gunshot wounds. The police responded and called paramedics, who took the victim to the hospital.

The SFPD says the suspect fled the scene and has not been located at this time. The condition of the victim is not known at this time.
