Police asking for public’s help in locating 80-year-old man reported missing, last seen Thursday

Local authorities are asking for public’s help in locating the 80-year-old man who was last seen on Thursday.

According to them, the 80-year-old Bernard Lipari was last seen in the 2200 block of Bennington Avenue in Flower Mound around 6:30 p.m.

He is driving dark grey 2021 Nissan Altima with Texas license plate PXY0495.

Before leaving his home, he left his cell phone and he informed no one when he left. His wife reported him missing.

Police described the missing person as a white male who is 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds. He has shoulder length silver hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing glasses, a multi-colored flannel, a brown suede jacket, blue jeans, and shoes.

Authorities added that Lipari has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment.

Lipari’s wife said that she is worried about his health and safety.

According to police, he has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and requires oxygen. He left without any oxygen devices and has gone several hours without necessary oxygen.

Since he might be seen in an altered mental state, police asked not to approach him if seen.
