Police ask for help in alleged kidnapping

San Francisco police are looking for a toddler who they say was kidnapped from a boarding school by his mother late Friday night.

The mother, identified by the police as Chelsi Tamulevich, who lives in the institution, allegedly stayed with her child, one-year-old Kaspian Tamulevich, despite the fact that, by a court decision, she did not have custody of her son.

She was last seen leaving the Ashbury Street area between Hayes Street and Fell Street around 5:30 pm on 17 March.

Police describe Chelsea Tamulewicz as a 38-year-old white woman, 5ft 6in and weighing 130lbs, with blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing an all-white outfit.

Kaspian Tamulevich is described as Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes.

The SFPD statement says that anyone who locates the mother or child should call 911. Anyone with information about their possible whereabouts can call the SFPD helpline at 1-415-575-4444 or send a message to number TIP411.
