One killed, one injured in traffic accident in South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – A man died in a traffic accident early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Emergency personnel were sent to the 1900 block of Florence Avenue after receiving a report of a two-vehicle collision around 1:00 a.m.

Upon arrival, LAFD confirmed that two patients were trapped in the collision and one may have been fatally injured.

Upon reaching both victims, one of them died at the scene.

The surviving victim was brought in in an unknown condition.

The identity of the victim is not released until the next of kin are notified.
