New Hampshire hospital fires third acting CEO for retirement

Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, New Hampshire has named Steve Gordon as interim CEO. He retired to get a job Valley News reported Jan 13.

Mr. Gordon has worked in the healthcare industry for 45 years. He retired in April after 11 years as CEO of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (Hungary).

Since February 2019, the Valley Regional Hospital has been led by a number of interim executives, according to the newspaper. Peter Wright, who is currently the CEO of Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, Virginia, was its last permanent leader. After his departure, Mr. Gordon will become the third acting head of the hospital.
