Fresno, California – An incredible spectacle can be seen in Merced County.

Thousands of cranes, geese, ducks and waders can be seen in the Merced National Wildlife Refuge.

Visitors can take car tours or walk along nature trails.

Merced National Wildlife Refuge is a 10,000-acre refuge. It includes swamps, grasslands, mountain habitats and many of these habitats are home to wildlife. This is their wintering area along the Pacific migration.
