Maryland Forestry Work Plans for Fiscal Year 24

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is soliciting public opinion on annual state forest work plans for fiscal year 24 for the following state forests: Green Ridge, Savage River, Potomac Garrett, and Chesapeake/Pcomokee. Comments can be submitted until April 21, 2023.

Public participation is an important part of the planning process. Stakeholders are encouraged to provide input that public land managers can use to set priorities and make informed decisions. Annual work plans include general information about each state forest, proposed forest management activities, proposed recreational development activities, proposed maintenance projects, and other topics related to state forests.
