Man shot dead in Willowbrook area identified

Authorities said on Saturday that the man fatally shot in Willowbrook was a resident of the area.

According to the coroner’s service, Ernesto Aceves was 44 years old.

Around 8:15 a.m., deputies responded to the intersection of East 132nd Street and Alameda Street, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Sheriff’s officials said they found Aceves had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no suspicious information.
