Man found gunned down in Brooklyn apartment, NYPD says

A 41-year-old man was found shot to death inside his Brooklyn apartment building that also houses a church, cops said Saturday.

Cops responding to a call of possible shots fired inside the Park Manor apartments on Rockaway Parkway near Rutland Road in East Flatbush found victim Jermaine Desaussure sprawled out on the floor of his third-floor apartment about 2:20 p.m. Friday, police said.

Desaussure had been shot multiple times in the chest and died at the scene, cops said.

No one else was in the apartment and no handgun was found, cops said.

No arrests have been made.

The four-story apartment building also houses the Restoration Fellowship Zion Apostolic Church, but it was not immediately clear if Desaussure was connected to the house of worship.

Cops were scouring the area Saturday looking for video footage that would capture the gunman fleeing the building.
