Kansas healthcare group hires new CFO

Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health has named Stacie Mason as its new senior vice president and CFO, replacing Peg Burnette, who is retiring.

Ms. Mason, who will begin her new duties Feb. 27, is currently vice president of hospital finance at Oklahoma City-based Integris Health. Before that, she served in CFO roles at two other Oklahoma healthcare systems.

“Stacie has great experience in working with both small and large hospitals, and providing expertise and support to a strong financial team,” Stormont Vail CEO and President, Robert Kenagy, MD, said in a statement shared with Becker’s.

Stormont Vail Hospital is a 586-bed acute care facility, and the system also includes the Cotton O’Neil Clinic with over 500 providers, including 250 physicians. The system employs approximately 5,300 people.
