Joe Burrow of the Bengals would be left without those three offensive players against the Bills.

The Cincinnati Bengals decided to upgrade their offensive line after losing the Super Bowl to the Los Angeles Rams.

Lael Collins, Alex Kappa and Ted Karras were signed as free agents, while Cordell Wolson was added in the 2022 NFL Draft to join John Williams in the team’s offensive starting line. After some initial problems, the Cincinnati line froze and became one of the best parts in the league.

Unfortunately for Cincinnati, their revamped offensive line began to falter late in the season.

Right tackle Lael Collins suffered a torn ACL and MCL in the Bengals’ win over the New England Patriots in Week 16. The injury ended Collins’ season. Alex Kappa suffered an ankle injury in the Cincinnati regular season finale. It has been called weekly ever since.

Having already lost two starting linemen, left tackle John Williams will suffer a dislocated patella at Wild Card Weekend against the Baltimore Ravens.

On Friday, Zach Taylor officially ruled out Kappa and Williams from Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Heading into the divisional round of the playoffs, Cincinnati’s revamped offensive line is suddenly three-starters short, with only Kappa and Wolson remaining in their starting five.

Buffalo’s ability to catch up to Joe Burrow could ultimately decide the outcome of Sunday’s game. With Cincinnati down three players, the Bills have a chance.
