The airline announced a planned $3.1 billion merger with Spirit last year, but the Justice Department filed a lawsuit earlier this month to stop the merger.

According to the company, it “set March 27, 2023 as the record date for a March 2023 prepayment to Spirit shareholders of $0.10 per Spirit share (“March 2023 Additional Prepayment”) with an additional March 2023 prepayment years to the shareholders of Spirit. will take place on March 31, 2023. Pursuant to the Merger Agreement, Spirit shareholders as of the registration date of March 27, 2023 will be eligible to receive an additional advance payment for March 2023.”

JetBlue is also in a legal battle over its alliance with American Airlines.
