HPD: Investigation underway after man found with gunshot wounds in Meyerland Kroger parking lot

Houston police said the man drove to Kroger after he was shot twice in north Houston.

HOUSTON. The man is in the hospital after being found with two gunshot wounds in a Kroger parking lot Saturday morning, according to Houston police.

The discovery was made just after 5 a.m. at Kroger on S. Post Oak Road, near the Meyerland area.

Police said the man was found “in and out of it” in the parking lot after he was shot. According to Sergeant HPD. Rossow, the shooting actually took place north of Houston near Watonga Boulevard. Rossow said the man told his mom about the shooting while driving before stopping at Kroger’s.

Rossow said the man was taken to the hospital and is currently in a stable condition. Meanwhile, the police are collecting evidence at the scene of the shooting.
