Good Samaritan slashed for coming to aid of woman being hassled on Bronx subway train

A good Samaritan was slashed for intervening when he saw a woman being harassed on a Bronx subway train, police said Monday.

The 54-year-old do-gooder stepped in when he saw a woman with a young child being hassled by a man on a Manhattan-bound No. 4 train about 9 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

He tried to get the man to leave the woman alone but as the train pulled into the 140th St-Grand Concourse station the man slashed the good Samaritan in the arm.

Another straphanger grabbed the attacker, holding him until police arrived. Lason Robinson, 42, was arrested for assault, weapon possession and menacing, police said.

The slashed victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital.
