Authorities said four people escaped safely Sunday after a small plane crashed at Montgomery Field.
According to the San Diego Fire and Rescue Department, the crash happened around 10:30 am Sunday at Montgomery-Gibbs Airport Executive, 3750 John J. Montgomery Drive in Kearny Mesa.
According to the SDFRD, firefighters and paramedics arrived at the crash site, and the four-seat plane sustained minor damage to its undercarriage.
No further information was forthcoming.
