Early Sunday morning crash in Dallas fatal for a pedestrian, the 29-year-old driver charged with intoxication manslaughter

Dallas, TX – Early Sunday morning vehicle-pedestrian incident in Northwest Dallas was fatal for a man whose identity is still not released for the public, the Dallas police confirmed.

According to the incident report, the fatal crash happened in the early morning hours on Sunday at W. Northwest Hwy and Technology Boulevard. when a woman driving a silver Chevy Malibu eastbound on W. Northwest Hwy. struck a man who was standing next to a crosswalk sign.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene before he was taken to hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.

The police confirmed that the incident happened around 12:30 a.m.

The 29-year-old woman was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
