Do you want subtle mints? Tagalongs? Samoa? Girl Scout cookie season has officially begun in upstate New York.

Girl Scout cookie times are nationally recognized from January to April, but local times vary from council to council. Today, NYPENN Pathways Girl Scouts kick off their 2023 cookie season as individuals and posse bring their communities together to support the world’s largest girl entrepreneurship program. Cookie revenue collected in GSNYPENN’s 26 counties during the annual program remains local to support its members and operations.

“Every package of cookies our Girl Scouts sell provides them and their troops with invaluable experience in developing business and leadership skills. This experience includes community service projects, troop travel, summer camp, badge work and more,” says GSNYPENN CEO Julie Dale. “We appreciate the community’s continued support for our troops during the Cookie Program, our council’s largest annual fundraiser.”

The GSNYPENN cookie season will run until Sunday, April 23rd. The price of cookies is still $5 per pack. If you know a Girl Scout, ask how and where they sell cookies. Girls take orders in person on traditional order cards and receive them through personalized Digital Cookie online ordering links. Cookies can be shipped directly for a fee or delivered by the girls once local supplies arrive at the end of the season.

Starting February 27th, customers with no connection to a Girl or Squad can use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder to access links to order Squads to have their favorite cookies delivered straight to their front door, including the new Raspberry Cookie Rally, available exclusively as an online order with drop shipping. . In addition, consumers can also use the Cookie Finder to find public kiosks in the month of April to purchase cookies in person from the GSNYPENN Girl Scouts.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. The newly updated Girl Scout Financial Literacy Badges offer entrepreneurship textbooks for all ages. The cookie program teaches girls about financial literacy, planning, budgeting, teamwork, innovative thinking, and confident decision making, from a Cookie Goal Setter earned as a Daisy to an Entrepreneur Accelerator for girls in high school.
