Day Around the Bay: Moderna set to open new Bay Area office
- The Chronicle published a searchable database of contracts awarded by the City of San Francisco to approximately 4,000 commercial and non-profit companies. The data is only for 2017, but you can see, for example, that Urban Alchemy has received over $60 million worth of contracts from the city in the past three years alone, to address homelessness and safe sleeping places, among other things. - Cruise, the self-driving car division of General Motors, is seeking permission from DMV to test its vehicles in California. Currently, the company can only travel to parts of San Francisco at night. [KPIX]
