Bruce Springsteen concert in Albany postponed due to illness

Albany, New York. If you go to a Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band concert on Tuesday in Albany, you will be dancing in the dark because the concert has been postponed.

The postponement was announced on Sunday afternoon Bruce Springsteen Twitter account. The tweet states that it was delayed due to illness, but does not say what type of illness or who is sick.

Tickets for the Albany concert on Tuesday will be valid for the rescheduled date, the tweet said.

This is the third show in a row that has been rescheduled. On Thursday night, the band canceled their show in Columbus, Ohio. The band’s Sunday show in Connecticut has also been postponed.

Several band members contracted Covid last month and played a gig in Dallas without Susie Tyrell, Steven Van Zandt and Niels Lofgren.

Nothing is known about the concert on Thursday, March 23 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.

Springsteen is due to perform Thursday, September 7th at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse. A small number of tickets are still available.

Springsteen is a musician from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, winner of 20 Grammy Awards, Oscars, a special Tony Award, and is inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He also received the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors and the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Barack Obama.

Springsteen has released 21 studio albums during his career, which includes songs such as Born in the USA, Born to Run, Dancing in the Dark, Hungry Heart, Thunder Road, Tenth Avenue. “Glory Days”, “I’m on Fire” and “Streets of Philadelphia”. His latest release, 2022’s “Only the Strong Survive”, included covers of R&B and soul songs.
