Avelo Airlines continues to expand with new routes

Aveno Airlines, launched a year ago at the height of the pandemic, continues to expand.

Avelo has added three new routes from Raleigh-Durham.

This is big news for Delts Air Lines. Although RDU is not a hub for Delta, it has a large presence there. North Carolina has become a popular stopover state, especially for commuters traveling to southerners.

The airline startup announced this week that it will operate a second Boeing 737 from RDU.

New routes connect to Greater Rochester (New York) International Airport (ROC), New Hampshire’s Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) and Memphis International Airport (MEM).

According to The Points Guy blog, this adds to RDU’s existing Avelo route, which includes Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Palm Beach, Sarasota, Fort Myers and Tampa, all in Florida, and New Haven in Connecticut.
