Air Jordans stolen from the feet of a 16-year-old boy were beaten unconscious on a Harlem street by teen muggers

Police said Thursday that a 16-year-old boy was beaten unconscious on a Harlem street by a group of heartless teen muggers who then stole Air Jordans from his feet.

The victim was standing in front of a McDonald’s on Broadway near 145 W Street around 9:15 p.m. Saturday when the violent crew ran up to him and attacked him, police said.

According to police, the thieves beat and kicked the teenager until he lost consciousness, and pulled expensive shoes off his feet, after which they ran away. They weren’t caught.

Police have released surveillance footage of several teenagers who, according to authorities, attacked and robbed a 16-year-old boy from West Harlem, stealing his Air Jordans.

Doctors took the teenager to a Harlem hospital, where he was treated and released.

On Thursday, police released surveillance footage of the sneaker thieves in the hope that someone would recognize them.
