The police contacted the caller, who explained the situation.

The caller said he was in downtown Austin with a woman and that they had been drinking all night. They tried to catch a car sharing, and a black sedan drove up to them. Believing it to be a shared car, the man and woman climbed into the back seat. The woman passed out shortly after entering.

After pulling the man out of the car, Hill allegedly returned to the driver’s seat and left the scene at high speed.

The man told police that he feared for his safety and feared for the woman, who was sleeping in the back seat of the car.

The affidavit states that the man used his Apple Watch to track the location of his mobile phone, which was still in Hill’s car. The phone was tracked to 6803 Shannon Dr., about 10.6 miles from where Hill was supposed to pick up the couple.

Shortly before 4 am, the officers arrived at the residence and heard a car speeding through the locked garage. After the cops knocked on the door several times, Hill finally answered and told the cops that the car was still on because someone was inside.

Fearing for the woman’s safety and believing she was in Hill’s car, the officers arrested Hill, entered the garage, and found the woman unconscious in the back seat. While helping the woman out of the car, the officers saw a used condom wrapper in the back seat and also noticed that the zipper on the woman’s trousers had been ripped open.

In an interview with police, Hill admitted that he picked up the woman from downtown Austin and took her to his home. He said he left her in a speeding car because he didn’t want to drag her into the house.
