From Amazon closing a $3.9 billion One Medical deal to Microsoft closing a deal to develop healthcare AI services, innovators continue to expand their healthcare ventures.

Here are eight steps in healthcare from the disruptors from February 1st:

  • Amazon said it closed its $3.9 billion acquisition of One Medical on February 22. The deal gives Amazon access to 200 general practitioner offices as well as approximately 815,000 One Medical members.
  • Walmart Health has named Brody McConnell as its new chief innovation officer.
  • Google Cloud is partnering with Redox, a compatibility startup founded by three former Epic engineers, to integrate health data from legacy systems into Google Cloud products.
